I think like most people, David and April were happy to see the back of lockdowns worldwide. The chance to get outside, not see the same four walls and to see friends and family. Oh and to have your day exactly how you want it. No ranking which guests are making the A list or the B list of attendees.
Being allowed to dance the way you feel.
David and April had waited their turn and today was the day. Meeting for a church ceremony in Mottram and then straight over to Mottram Hall where the guests had the option for a tipi reception or drinks at the indoor bar. On a sunny day like they had it’s hard to turn down a tipi and the chance to sip your cocktails in the summer sun and chat with friends you haven’t seen in such a long time.
Choosing Mottram Hall wasn’t their only good decision that day, and sometimes a bit of luck on the day with the weather means it was worth the wait. As they kissed and strolled in the setting sun, the other guests got ready for a good dance, and they did not disappoint. Sometimes, things are worth the wait, even if it means a sore head in the morning!
